a rest in a spacious suite.
I arrived in the evening and brought pizza up to the room. The next morning, I had the buffet before heading to Disney.

An evening arrival, after checking the name.ARRIVAL
I took a bus from central Los Angeles to Anaheim. I first went to the similarly named Anaheim Marriott, where I was alarmed to hear that I had no reservation. My hotel was the one with “Suites” in its name. Mickey greeted me at the entrance.
A living room and a bedroom.EXECUTIVE SUITE
I was upgraded from the 38 m² suite I had booked to a 50 m² Executive Suite. The living room had a sofa and desk, with a king bedroom beyond. It was fairly dim even with all the lights on, but the warm lighting felt restful. The bathroom could be entered from either room and had a bathtub.
Takeaway pizza, then a rest.TAKEAWAY DINNER
I arrived around 8 p.m. With Disney planned for the next day, I got takeaway pizza from Route 22 Restaurant & Bar. I used a food-and-drink voucher provided as a Platinum Elite benefit at the time. I was tired, so being able to eat in the room was convenient.

Breakfast was the buffet at Route 22, included as a Platinum Elite benefit at the time. Alongside bacon and eggs, I enjoyed salmon and French toast. I also remember asking for tea and being brought a whole box of tea bags. Arriving at night and leaving the next morning meant little time to enjoy the hotel, but I liked the separate bedroom and living room, and breakfast before departure.
