After arriving from Japan, W Sydney was my first hotel in the city. It had only recently opened.

I was upgraded from a Wonderful Room to a Spectacular Room. It had a blue sofa and a round bathtub.

My first meal: a wagyu burger.IN-ROOM DINING

I ordered a wagyu burger in the room. It was my first meal after arriving in Sydney, and very good.

At 29/30, I had champagne and fries. I liked the combination, particularly the truffle ponzu mayonnaise sauce.

I went to the buffet at BTWN for breakfast. It was complimentary as a Platinum Elite benefit at the time.

I went to the pool and the sauna at AWAY Spa. The FIT gym had the Technogym machines I was used to.
