Arriving in Dubai, to the hotel.ARRIVAL

This was my first hotel after arriving in Dubai. From the colourful driveway to a lobby lined with purple sofas, the bold colours inside stayed with me too.

Marvelous SuiteTHE SUITE

The Marvelous Suite was spacious throughout, both living room and bedroom. There were sofas on the sea-facing terrace too, offering a different view from indoors.

The bedroom was separate from the living room. The bathtub right beside the bed was memorable too.

The shower room with two shower heads was interesting. Alongside the spacious vanity area, features like this gave the room its character.

I had breakfast at the hotel's buffet. There was plenty to choose from, including fruit and bread.

Pool & beachPOOL & BEACH

On this first Dubai visit, I really felt the May heat. A swim in that heat was refreshing. There was a beach right beside the pool too.
