The sea on arrival, champagne at Sunset Delight, and eel in the room. It was a satisfying night at a hotel I had long wanted to try.

A white hotel, with the sea beyond.ARRIVAL
During a summer trip to Miyakojima, I finally visited IRAPH SUI, which I had long been curious about. I chose a different hotel for each of the three nights, and this was one I was especially looking forward to. The sea beyond the white building struck me as soon as I arrived.

I was upgraded to an ocean-view room on a higher floor. An extra bed was added for the three of us. There were welcome sweets and fruit including muscat grapes, and time to relax on the terrace. The minibar was complimentary at the time. Byredo Le Chemin amenities and the Repronizer 4D also stayed in my memory.
Champagne and a changing sky.SUNSET DELIGHT
Sunset Delight was a particular favorite. I watched the evening from the lobby and poolside with champagne. I liked having time to enjoy the sea and sky slowly changing color.
Another blue beyond the water.POOL & FITNESS
By day, the pool appeared to continue into the blue sea; by night, it reflected the lights. The atmosphere changed with the hour. I was very happy with the stay overall, though I found the fitness room small and a little too humid.

I remember the eel I ordered through in-room dining being very good. Enjoying a meal while relaxing in the room was a pleasure.

Breakfast was at TIN’IN. At the time, it was complimentary for two as a Platinum Elite benefit, and we paid extra for the third person. Salads, pastries, and Japanese and Western dishes made for a satisfying breakfast in both quality and variety.
Around the island to the blue sea.AROUND THE ISLAND
Outside the hotel, I visited the sea at places including 17END. White sand, clear water and blue appearing beyond the road made for very Miyakojima scenery. Between the hotel and exploring the island, this was a stay with plenty of time looking at the sea.
