ABOUT THIS STAY

My tour of Sydney hotels,
the final one.

Of the seven Marriott hotels in Sydney at the time, this was the last one I had yet to stay at. For my first Four Points stay, I was upgraded from the king room I booked to a Studio.

As we wanted to spend plenty of time in the hotel, other hotels would also be options for us. Still, I felt this would be a good base for sightseeing. The photographs and service details reflect my June 2024 stay.

Checking in at a city hotel.ARRIVAL

Walking around from Broadway to the side of the hotel brought me to the restaurant and entrance. There was fruit-infused water and Chupa Chups in the lobby. I also spotted a cleaning robot in the corridor.

A Studio with a sofa.KING STUDIO

The long room had a sofa beside the king bed. The television faced the sofa and felt a little far from the bed, so I would watch films from the sofa. Further in were a fairly large wardrobe, a full-length mirror and a desk.

Two washbasins and a bathtub.BATHROOM

This was my first room with two washbasins, which surprised me. The bath and shower were far apart, and I was a little concerned about wetting the floor when moving between them. The bath amenities had a fresh citrus scent.

The fridge was almost empty, with one carton of milk. Complimentary water and coffee and tea supplies were provided too.

Breakfast at Central Quarter.BREAKFAST

The next morning, I went through the bar beside the lobby to the restaurant. Breakfast was included as a membership benefit at the time. There were pastries and doughnuts, and my favourite eggs Benedict were on the buffet rather than made to order.
