ABOUT THIS STAY

One night at W,
and a morning I had been looking forward to.

I like W Osaka and had wanted to try W San Francisco. I was upgraded to a Studio Suite, then headed to Apple Union Square the next morning to pick up Vision Pro.

The purple lobby, ice cream in the room, and avocado toast for breakfast. I also include photographs of Yosemite from the same trip. Notes about benefits and meals reflect my February 2024 stay.

Liking W Osaka made me want to try a W in the US, so I chose San Francisco. The entrance at night and the purple lobby felt very W.

An upgrade to a Studio Suite.STUDIO SUITE

I was upgraded from the Wonderful Room I had booked to a Studio Suite. Gold walls and geometric patterns stood out in the room.

I ordered in-room dining that evening. I still have photographs of the burger and fries. The ice cream I ordered afterward was particularly good.

I had avocado toast at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was ordered from a menu rather than a buffet. At the time, breakfast for two was complimentary as a member benefit.

The next morning, I walked from the hotel to Apple Union Square to collect Vision Pro. Back in the room, I opened the box.

During my time in San Francisco, I took a bus to Yosemite National Park. It was a long journey, but I remember the misty forests, enormous rock faces and waterfalls.
