As my time in Sydney
was drawing to a close.
This is my second article about W Sydney, though I have stayed many times. This time, I chose an Oasis Studio with a kitchen.
Time in the spacious room, a rest at the spa, and my favourite BTWN the next morning. It was another night that left me wanting to return on a future Sydney trip. The photographs, service and rates reflect my June 2024 stay.

Back to W Sydney, again and again.ARRIVAL
As my time living in Sydney came to an end, I returned to the W I had visited so often. This time, for the first time, I received a drink voucher worth AUD 30 per person.
An Oasis Studio this time.OASIS STUDIO
This time, I chose the Oasis Studio I had wanted to try. Blue wave-like walls and a spacious living room. The familiar shark was on the bed too.
A kitchen I could live with.KITCHEN
The room even had an oven, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Looking at the dishes and cooking equipment made me want to stay longer.
The pleasure of a soak in the bath.BATHROOM
I rarely had the chance to soak in a bathtub while living in Sydney, so I looked forward to bath time too. There were wooden toothbrushes, MARVIS toothpaste and a ghd hair dryer.
WET DECK in winter.POOLS
The outdoor pool on the 29th floor was a little chilly in the winter wind. I enjoyed the Darling Harbour view, then stopped by the heated indoor pool on the 22nd floor too.
A break at Away Spa.AWAY SPA
I went to the sauna at the fourth-floor spa. It was AUD 60 per person then; I had misheard it as six dollars, so the AUD 120 total for two came as a surprise.
Food and a toast in the room.IN-ROOM DINING
We ordered a wagyu burger, chicken katsu and a cheese platter. Everything was delicious. Everyone brought drinks and snacks, and we toasted the last stretch of our time living in Sydney.
A favourite breakfast, BTWN.BREAKFAST
My breakfast favourites were passion fruit yogurt and a mango smoothie. I ordered eggs Benedict at the table and even finished with ice cream. I took too much and stayed full until evening.
